The JA Student Company Program is run on a limited scale and serves as a proof-of-concept. In this The JA Student Company Program is run on a limited scale and serves as a proof-of-concept. In this program, participating students learn important entrepreneurial skills while creating their own student company and operate it through an entire business cycle (From business plans through organization setup and operations to liquidation).The companies are overseen by a Student ‘Board of Directors’, have articulated ‘incorporation’documents and maintain their books of accounts. They make and market real products, raise “capital”and make “real” profits (or losses) with the support and mentoring of a wide range of professionals. The purpose of this program is to provide students a real life experience as possible while staying within academic boundaries.

HELPER’S HAGUE JA STUDENT COMPANY (2016) HELPER’S HAGUE

The first student company of Learning Paths School was established by the class XI Commerce students in year 2016.The Company manufactured a unique product a load lifter/carrier named as ‘Cool-e’. This product was especially designed for the labour force of unorganized sector to carry and transport heavy load. The company raised funds by issuing 1078 shares @ INR 10 each. The company faced many challenges such as dealing and negotiating with the suppliers, handling interdepartmental disputes and understanding our customer needs and wants. However, it successfully sold 65 units and earned total revenue of INR 1,30,100 and a net profit of INR 5,757.50 which resulted in earning per share being INR 15.34.

EUPHORIA JA STUDENT COMPANY (2017) EUPHORIA

The second student company of Learning Paths School was established by Class XI Commerce and Humanities students in year 2017. It dealt in manufacturing and sale of ottoman called ‘Comf-e’ and wooden hanging shelves called ‘Hangover’. The company provided eco-friendly, comfortable, unique and durable products which added elegance to any residential or office interiors. The Company raised share capital of Rs. 10,000 by issuing shares of 10 each to the students and the staff of LPS. The company produced and sold 56 units of Comf-e, earned a revenue of INR 1,42,000 in three months of operation n with a net profit of INR 3,819 which resulted in earning per share of INR 13.85.

CLEANTECH JA STUDENT COMPANY (2018)

The third student company of Learning Paths School was established by Class XI Commerce and Humanities students in 2018. It dealt in providing cost effective, eco-friendly toilet sanitation tablets called ‘FabTab’. They provided a safe and easy cleaning solution for toilets. The company raised share capital of INR 8,000 by issuing 800 shares of Rs. 10 each to the students and the staff of LPS. The company produced and sold 565 boxes of FabTab tablets; each box consists of 10 tablets. It has earned a revenue of INR 32,235 and made a net profit of INR 107 which resulted in earning per share of INR 0.13.

ShinobiTECH JA Student Company (2019)

The fourth student company of Learning Paths School was established by Class XI Commerce and Humanities students in 2019. It dealt in manufacturing home safety and security system device called ‘LASERekha’. They provided an efficient and effective home security solutions at affordable cost based on the principle of light detection. The company raised share capital of INR 10,000 by issuing shares of Rs. 10 each to the students and the staff of LPS. The company produced and sold 55 units of LASERekhas. It has earned a revenue of INR 52,885 and made a net profit of INR 5684 which resulted in earning per share of INR 5.69.

Doorway JA Student Company (2020)

The fifth student company of Learning Paths School has been established by Class XI Commerce and Humanities students in 2020. The company deals in the manufacturing and sale of foot operated, hands free door openers, reducing the risk of infection from common contact points like door handles. The mission of the company is to engineer products that make public health and hygiene accessible, affordable and sustainable under the aegis of sophisticated design and advanced technology. The company raised share capital of INR 7450 by issuing shares of Rs. 10 each to the students and the staff of LPS. The company intends to earn a total revenue of Rs. 65,875 and a net profit of Rs. 22,375 in its 3 months operation. It intends to give a 50 % dividend to its shareholders by producing and selling 150 units of Doorway.
